Here are a few expectations and anticipations I have for the journey ahead of me.
There will be lots to eat and talk about ( bavard et bouffer , which mean to be chatty and eat a lot )
Attractive people everywhere, no GTL or over processed beauty stuff, just the natural perks of being born in a place where people do not care what you look like. You do you for you and no one else.
Street style to die for
Millennials that carry conversation about more than celebrities and pop culture
Breezy beautiful weather the whole time
I won’t go broke since the conversion rate is similar but the prices are lower
I will get to surf at least once ( I love to surf )
I will come back having the best french accent ever
My friends and family won’t get tired of all my random reminiscing
Not to get pick pocketed in Italy
I will look back at this after my trip and will let you know how accurate these end up being.

I will be spending the bulk of my summer in Chambéry, France. A culture rich country side slice of heaven
Which literally translates to hello I am here! in french
A friend suggested that I start blogging about the exciting news I am about to share with you. I AM FINALLY STUDYING ABROAD!! I am a current junior international business major with a weird talent of finding myself in uncomfortable social situation. I have mastered it on my own domestic turf but I think taking it abroad will be far more amusing. So this will be my little recap of all the happenings of my days abroad and what trouble I happened to have been caught in (real time).
So here is the plan. I am shipping off in less that 20 days to Milan, Italy where I will make the most of being in my first fashion capital. I will share all the street style, the food, the sights and sounds and everything in between. Then after a very short stay in MILANO I will be booking it over the border to France where I will be cradled between two very beautiful peaks as a foreign exchange student. That’s right people, I am studying in a valley.
Through out the summer I will be taking excursion trip through out Europe, I am banking on leaving France at least 3 times but lets see how it all plays out.
This is the start to something fabulous! I know my views of the world will be changed forever after this trip and I can’t wait. I think this change is necessary to be successful in the field of work I hope to be apart of. Lets see how this all turns out in the end. Maybe its going to be the best decision I ever made, or its one hot mess. Either way, reader you will be witness to the grace or train wreck that will be my summer.
